MEMBERSHIP IN SAMPOORNA AGRITECH LIFE FOUNDATION

Qualifications for membership:

Christian businessmen and professionals in the agricultural and allied industries with a commitment to use their anointing and skills for the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the said industry, with integrity and faith, and an attitude of unity in the body of Sampoorna Agritech

A membership form will be made available where relevant data will be collected from every applicant

A Membership Committee of 5 men and women who have paid subscriptions will be constituted. They will be assigned the responsibility to screen members and approve their enrolment. This committee will meet as often as they deem fit and necessary.

In the event of any dispute or cessation w r t membership, the decision of the Board will be final.

Options for membership are Life, 5 years, 3 years and Annual (as discussed).

The committee may reject an application for membership without publicising any reason for the same. The decision of the board will be final and binding.

An Advisory Committee will be set up for providing overall guidance and resource support for the various activities.

Specific Committees will be set up for providing critical inputs as and when needed: Technical, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Supply Chain and Prayer. Others may be added as we move forward.

Domains of functional objectives have been recognized and each will be headed by a Domain Head, supported by 2 leaders who will together formulate strategy and action plans. (groups defined in the WA Community)

There will also be zonal divisions which will help in the efficient execution of the strategy and action plans. Broadly, they will be North, North-West, North-East, East, West, Central and South. Each zone will be represented by a leader who will harness the resources within the zone.

A leader may hold a maximum of two positions at a time and not more.

Membership of a person may be terminated for the following reasons:

Insolvency

Conviction by a court of law

Activities against the objectives of the company and not appropriate.

Any other reason as the directors may deem necessary.

The concerned member will be given a chance before the board of directors to explain his/ her position.

Membership will be accepted only when the membership is approved.

Members are part of the only Christian organisation in India which is focused on gospel through agriculture

Members’ subscription fees are utilised for the expenses of the administrative affairs which include office rent, secretarial and CA fees, and any approved charges which may be incurred in conducting the affairs of SALF

Members will be able to share their information in a database which will give them access to wide network and business opportunities.

Members will benefit from subsidised participation fees for training and conferences on case to case basis.

Members will be able to submit project proposals for domestic and international funding.

Members will be able to avail services such as development of project reports, marketing and policy advocacy.

⁠Members will be able to get visibility through SALF website.

Members will be able to become part of various committees which will drive multiple initiatives.

Members will be able to work in cross regional projects.

⁠Members will be able to access freely resources which will be generated from time to time, including project reports and databases.

Membership Fee: Rs.2400/- per annum @Rs. 200/- per month, payable one time. The membership expires on the completion of one year and hence the members need to renew before it expires. Each member has a voting right. There is no special class of members, all are equal.

Membership can be for longer period as well:

a. 3 years : Rs. 6500

b. 5 years : Rs.10,000

c. Life membership: Rs. 25,000/-
